First Freedom Student Competition Deadline: November 14, 2011

NSA Stokes Educational Scholarship Program Deadline: November 15, 2011
Eligibility: High school Senior planning to major in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering. Must be a U.S. citizen and have demonstrated leadership abilities. Must achieve a minimum SAT score of 1600 (1100 Critical Reading & Math, 500 in Writing), or ACT score of 25; 3.0 GPA. With this program, the student will attend college full time (tuition is paid for), then work during the summer at NSA (National Security Agency) for 12 weeks in areas related to their course of study. Students acquire real-world experience and receive a salary year round. Upon graduation from college you will work for the NSA in your field of study. The Gates Millennium Scholars Program Deadline: January 11, 2012
Available to senior high school students who are African American, American Indian / Alaska Native, Asian Pacific Islander American, or Hispanic American. Applicants must be a citizen, national or legal permanent resident of the United States, must have attained a cumulative GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 (un-weighted) scale. Student must be enrolling for the first time at a U.S. accredited college or university full-time in the fall of 2012; must demonstrate leadership abilities through participation in community service, extracurricular, or other activities. Applicants must meet the Federal Pell Grant eligibility criteria as determined through submission of a FAFSA, and must submit all three required forms, (nominee personal information form, nominator form, and recommended form) by the deadline.
